Description
DEMO:
After user selects BA+Location pairs and enters Total Monthly Budget, the UI (attached) displays the total and allocated monthly budgets across networks.
Distribution-specific fields are NOT editable for this story.
Requirements:
AML determines the default allocation see below for proposed calculation -(per the StacieW method) - The monthly budget will be split out based on the weighted averages of the estimated clicks and then adjusted by CPC.-
-Crude examples for illustration purposes and not necessarily for implementation:-
- -
For example, If the max number of clicks and CPCs are the same for Google and Bing then the monthly budget will be split 1:1.- - -
If Google estimates twice as many clicks and the CPCs are the same, then the budget will be split 2:1.- - -
If the max number of clicks are the same for Google and Bing but Bing max CPC is half that of Google, then the budget will be split to favor Bing, 2:1.-
-This scenario assumes the subscriber did not specify how the budget will be allocated across networks - see AML-3496-
UPDATE: 10/14/15
Due to Nate's objections to the original calculation any budget entered into the aggregate quote range text box will be divided among distributions based on distribution specific reseller properties (GOOG_BUDGET_ALLOCATION, BING_BUDGET_ALLOCATION, etc.). By default the Bing/Google split should be 1:3 and the person onboarding the reseller should make sure this is the case.
