Report List "loading" dialog appears a second time

When viewing a list of reports, I changed the number of items per page to 100.
A "loading" dialog box appeared followed by the list of reports. When I
subsequently clicked in the gray area of the scroll bar (below the scroll bar
slider), the "loading" dialog appeared again for a moment before I was returned
to the top of the report list. Subsequent clicks to the gray portion of the
scrollbar then seemed to work.
