      Description

      Basic Idea 1:

      • Additional (non-autoloading) drill down filter using <form> drop down menus.

      Features:

        • Is automatically updated by the current (auto-loading) drill down filter.
        • Will NOT auto-load (will have a submit button) so you can take your time in
picking exactly what you want without working about mouse jittering (losing the
menu) or clicking on the wrong thing option.
        • Will replace the real-estate of the current Navigation Indicator ( Paid
          Search » Google AdWords » ExecSight » Execsite )

      Basic Idea 2:

      • Do not load reports automatically when clicking the report. Instead, only show
the Filter, Date/Time Dialog, and Search Criteria.

      Features:

        • Will kill overhead on database because people can select what they want
before getting a report sent to them versus forcing them to see and wait for a
report that they might not want.
        • Also switching from one account report to another account report. You don't
have to wait for the old report to from a prior account to view a new report on
the next account. (2 database loads). Instead, you'll just get the filter
settings of the prior account, you can change the settings or leave them as they
are, and hit submit to load what you want to see on the NEW account (or select
from the saved filter drop down – see the next idea).

      Basic Idea 3:

      • Add Search Filter Saving functions.

      Features:

        • Will be on the right side of the filter dialog. Will have a drop down window
to load a saved filter or save the current filter settings. Clicking on "Save
Current Filter Settings" will bring up a dialog box for the user to give the
filter a name, and display all the current filter settings (adjustable), and
additional filter settings, such as, showing certain columns or not (could solve
the collapsable columns bug-enh request), showing comparision data or not,
sorting by particular column, disable graphs, and showing the drill down of the
          report (or specific report).
        • There will be another Account Management spot for JUST the "Report Filter
Setting". This is where you can create filters from scratch, preview them, and
          edit old filters.
        • This will also combine the current User Setting's options "USER PREFERENCES"
          and "DEFAULT KEYWORD FILTER".
