Description
Placement report is a manual process that requires the user to download a CSV from Google’s Adwords and use an Excel Visual Basic Macro to perform some sorting and comparisons. The new report will completely eliminate the need for those manual steps.
Steps to develop:
1. Create a date range for the end user. Use the same UI functionality as in “Create Reports” – Custom Date Range. Add an example of how the date should be entered as text below the boxes (e.g. “Apr 15, 2013”). Nice to have: as with “Create Reports”, it automatically fills out the box in gray text with a suggested date range. Use the same functionality here as well. Then you will not need to show the example, since the example itself will be inside the box. LMK if this does not make sense.
2. Remove the “Schedule report” feature. While it’s nice to have this functionality, it will complicate the date range selection options.
3. Remove PDF from the available output types
