      Description

AML-1777 is currently sitting atop the AML Backlog.

      Additional info from Elizabeth:

Manasa and Paul have provided the Dev team with a proposal on how to implement Sitelinks with feedservices for Optus. We’ll look to the Dev team to provide specific feedback on any architectural implications, as well any general feedback – including QA schedule. With this in mind, do you believe you’ll be able to provide an update on timing by this week’s AML call? I ask because, sunset is on the 23rd of September, which means the update needs to be in Optus production by September 9th, and into Optus PTT by August 26th. That means, QA’s tests will have to be finalised by August 19th (so techOps has time to roll the update into PPT and smoke test it).

As usual, I imagine QA may need 2 weeks, which means they’ll need the update from Dev by August 5th. That’s less than a month away. If Paul is going to be the one taking this on, it’s not unreasonable to think he’d need at least 3 weeks to implement and test in Dev. Less time may be necessary if someone else is going to take this on. Either way, greater clarity on the plan would be appreciated this week as we need to advise Optus of the upcoming schedule (and of course, plan appropriately).
