Switching target doesn't unselect current staging area

If you select a target and a staging area, and then switch the target, the staging area stays selected. This usually results in something like "SQL exception dropping federated tables: Unknown database 'smb_staging_2415'" because the new target doesn't necessarily have that staging area (and shouldn't have to).
