Need a version number for the SAPI api

            Description

            We need to be able to tell which version of the API is installed on a test system in order to help with the testing and debugging effort for the AQ project, Right now, there is no way to tell which version of the API is under test. Please provide a way to tell a user which version of the sapi API is installed on their system.
