This blank page is used to create a Merchant. A Merchant must be created before an order can be placed for the Merchant. This is not intended to replace a CRM system, but merely a means to integrate the Merchant ID into performance reporting and the order fulfillment process. Users may enter comments in the (optional) Comments field to facilitate communication across multiple users who may be working with the same Merchant record.
Only the Merchant ID is required before saving a merchant. However, please note the following about each of the Merchant Fields:
Merchant Name refers to the name of the business. It should not be entered in all caps. Although the Merchant Name is not required to be entered, it is strongly recommended. Leaving this field blank when saving the merchant will automatically populate the Merchant Name with the Merchant ID. The Merchant Name may be updated at any time and cannot exceed 64 characters.
Merchant ID identifies the Merchant in the subscriber system. This ID will be referenced in performance reporting and orders specific to this Merchant. The Merchant ID must be unique across all Merchant IDs entered in this system for the subscriber. This field is required before saving a merchant and may be updated at any time. The Merchant ID cannot exceed 64 characters.
Contact Name is the specific individual the sales or customer services user may contact to discuss an order or support ticket submitted for the Merchant business. This field may be updated at anytime.
Contact Email will be used to create a Merchant user account to access their secure dashboard UI to view performance metrics. The Contact Email must be unique across all Contact Emails entered in this system. This field may be updated at any time.
Contact Phone field must include no less than 7 and no more than 15 numbers. Dashes, spaces, parenthesis, and ''x'' are the only non-numeric characters accepted. This field may be updated at any time.
Comments field may contain up to 1024 characters and may be updated at any time.
