Description
Starting July 1, 2015 Google will no longer support destination URLs. Instead of creating destination URLs the Google Content Editor must create upgraded URLs for each ad. An upgraded URL is made up of a final URL and optional tracking template.
We will use the destination URL for the final URL. The final URL can include tracking parameters but that is optional. The only scenario that this doesn't support is URLs with third party redirects that cause the domain of the final URL to be different from that of the destination URL.
There are two places in the AML UI where destination URLs are entered:
1. "Primary Destination URL" on the Create Order screen
2. "Destination URL" in the Edit Ad screen.
No UI changes. Tracking templates will not be supported at this time.
