      Description

AML API customers would like to be able to customize ads for campaigns.

As part of the YJ proposed workflow, they will request ads to be reserved for a merchant and returned to YJ(AML-4291) and will display them to their users. If the user likes them, they will issue a normal deployment request to us.

If the user does not like them, they will be able to edit them in the YJ UI. YJ will then validate the new ad content and make a deployment request to AML API with the new ad content as part of the request. The ads for that merchant's campaign will now be treated as a customized campaign.

The API deployment call can have 1-4 ads customized per campaign. If we only get 1 customized ad for a campaign, that is all that AML will deploy for that campaign. Treat the omission of ads as equivalent of deleting ads through the AML custom ads UI.

If the new deployment request does not contain any custom ads, use the pinned ads for that campaign.

Keyword insertion is supported in headlines like it is today in AML Custom Ads UI. YJ needs to validate this, not us.

This story needs to be enabled for all search distributions (Google, Bing and YJ). YJ is the group asking for these changes but there is value in opening this up for all distributions as multiple clients are likely to start using the API.
