The Bulk Ad Upload tool is an efficient way to customize existing Ads in your AML account. This feature saves time by allowing you to download existing Ads in the system in bulk so that you can then make bulk Ad edits. With the tool, you’re able to customize each element of an Ad for all selected business areas. Once you make your changes and save the file, you can then upload the updated CSV to AdMax Local and your changes will be reflected in the ads section of the account in the UI.
Please note that each search engine has their own strict policies and guidelines for Ads. AdMax Local will validate for some of these policies while others will need to be reviewed and flagged by the respective search channel (I.E. Google, Bing, FB).
While uploading Ads using the Bulk Ad Upload tool, please follow the guidelines below to ensure your changes are reflected in the platform:
- Please make sure the file you upload is in its original CSV format
- Do not add or remove rows for Ads in the bulk ad update CSV
- Do not modify the Ad IDs associated with each ad in the Bulk Ad Update CSV
Note: When a bulk upload is submitted, the upload will be successful only when all the ads meet the platform’s validation requirements. If there is a validation error, the ads that have an error will be highlighted in the error report, along with a description with the reasoning for the error. Please be sure to address any errors in the error report before uploading the corrected file to the platform
