Stuck in unsaved changes loop after auto-logout while creating an Order

to reproduce, log in to the system, create an order but do not save it. I had everything filled in. wait for the auto logout to log you out of the system. (default = 10 minutes). Log back in to the system . Try to click on anything (create merchants tab, create order ,etc.) and you'll get the 'You have unsaved changes' dialog. You can click Yes or Cancel and you'll keep getting that dialog back. You are stuck in the loop. You need to Shift+Refresh to get out of the loop or close the browser.
