Search is SAPI version Dependent

I had SAPI version 211 on the QA environment and created a bunch of Orders and Merchants. I upgraded to SAPI version 212 and I could no longer search on any of the Orders or Merchants I created in the previous version. If I created new content, I could search on that but none of the orders or merchants I created in 211 will appear in the search.

If we have to upgrade SAPI after we have deployed and customers have created a lot of data and they can't search on orders or merchants they had created previously, we will have a problem. Search should work regardless of the SAPI version the data was created under.
