Description
Moving forward, we will no longer use Business Type content on the Home page.
Instead we will use the first paragraph of the "Primary BF" content. This
paragraph of content needs to be unique against the first paragraph of content
on the actual BF page (if exists).
Here are the rules to determine the Primary BF (keep in mind, we will still be
passed the Primary BT ID which should be ignored):
1. When a customer purchases a single BF, use this BF as the primary BF
2. When a customer has multiple BF's, use the unique BF that has the location
that matches the home page (Primary Location). E.g. If BF1 has a campaign for
Reading and BF2 has a campaign for Oxford, and the Primary Location on the
home page is Reading, use BF1 content since it matches the Primary Location.
If BF2 also had a campaign for Reading, then move on the the next check, since
there would not be a unique BF to the Primary location.
3. When a customer has multiple BF's that have campaigns for the Primary
location, choose the BF among this group with the highest budget (the highest
budget value doesn't have to be specific to the Primary location campaign- in
fact, i would prefer the determining budget value to be the aggregate of all
campaign budgets for that BF)
4. IF >1 BF with Primary Location AND >1 highest Budget (i.e. same budget
values), then Choose Alphabetical or some other method you recommend (let me
know if you deviate from alphabetical).
5. IF NONE WITH Primary Location, then choose the one with the HIGHEST Budget.
As currently coded, for this scenario, there will be GEO substation in this
content that refers to the Home page location which will differ from the
campaign location purchased for that BF. Hopefully, there will be very few
cases for this. At least all the Service Areas will be listed on the Home page.
Please add an enable/disable switch in case Yell wants to revert back to BT
content.
Thanks!
