Description
According to ADMAX-1060, a target ROI should allow negative numbers up to but
excluding -100.
Bulk Settings does not check that Target ROI is greater than -100, however.
1. On staging (client-st), pick an account who has ROI for the performance
metric (can be viewed & changed in the Account Setup "Performance Metric" page).
2. Open Bidding -> Bulk Settings.
3. Choose "set Target ROI", "absolute value" and give it a value of -100.
4. Choose one SE, a campaign and a group (should make sure ahead of time (via
Interactive) that this group has data).
5. Open New Downloads and run a report for that SE.
6. Open the report in Available Downloads.
Notice the Target ROI for the group is -100%.
I also tried (from this point), in Bulk Settings, doing a Percentage Change of
-1. Repeat steps 5 and 6 and notice the Target ROI for the group will now be ~
-101%.
(Similarly, you could also used Interactive instead of New Downloads).
There is a function that is supposed to take care of this (modifyBidTargets() in
bidmgrutils.inc.php, which gets called in handleEdits() in
bidmanagerreport.class.php) but neither get hit.
