new reseller user activates account

The goal is:
a new reseller user can log into AML.

Context and setup:

1. Reseller admin (per onboarding questionnaire) provides user name (email addresses) to TSA.

2. TSA creates user account (Active flag is not set) using a script that generates an email being sent to each reseller user that includes an activation link (includes token that maps to specific email address which has never logged in before- EXPIRES 30 days- otherwise the token/login is disabled).

User experience:

1. reseller user receives email with an activation link and information text with info that includes expiration date.

1. user clicks the link and taken to a Set Password page.

1. User sets pw per requirements displayed on the screen (enters twice to confirm pw was entered correctly) and taken to the log in screen and must log in with his user email and new pw.

1. user receives confirmation email to welcome them to AML with AML login link

After setting the password, the initial activation token becomes disabled and the user is set to ACTIVE. If the user later clicks the link again they are taken to the activation page which says "you either already activated the account or this is an invalid link" and a link to the login page is provided.

One or more users belonging to a reseller can be created when a Dev-ops user runs the New Reseller On-boarding script, or when running a script that adds one or more new users to an existing reseller (and likely from UI screen in a future release).

In all cases, a email message will be generated by the system and sent to the email address of each new user with the following contents:

A user account has been created for you on the AdMax SMB Marketing Platform by

{Reseller Name}. To activate your account, please click on the URL below and use the password provided in this email.

If you have any questions, please ask your {Reseller Name}

This is a noreply email.

*PW Validation rules:

6-30 characters, min one CAP, min one number.

• • Note that initially this email will apply to all new users (since all new users will be Reseller (or TSA) users. Once we start creating merchant users the system will need to support a different welcome email based upon the user type that is being created.
